　　1949年10月1日新中国开国大典当晚，欢庆的游行队伍高呼着“毛主席万岁”经过天安门城楼时，扩音器里不断传来毛泽东洪亮的声音：“人民万岁”！这一声朴实而又充满感恩的回应，凝固成永恒的历史音符。 影片在毛泽东同志诞辰130周年之际，用别具情感力量与温情脉络的经典光影描绘出一幅感人至深的历史画卷，弘扬了中国共产党第一代领袖的崇高精神，彰显出"人民万岁"的铮铮誓言。

曾在晨间剧《花子与安妮》中饰演女主角的吉高由里子，踏上加拿大爱德华王子岛之旅，探寻《红发安妮》诞生的秘密，以及作者蒙哥马利鲜为人知的一面。旁白由演员山崎树范担任，音乐则由大河剧《致光之君》作曲家冬野ユミ全新创作。原创乐曲与影像的融合，为观众带来一场唯美而动人的视听盛宴。

　　为了更好的理解人生，并且找寻自身生活的意义，导演及摄影师王一男在2011年开始了一段永生难忘的寻访之旅。
　　六个月的时间，他驱车4万公里，走遍加拿大，寻找100名受访者，询问他们同一组关于人生的问题。受访人的年龄从一岁到一百岁，一个年龄一人，一百名受访者出生于1912年到2011年的每一年里，整整横跨一个世纪。
