　　华盛顿特区举行的一次博物馆招待会上，一个远古的头像雕塑发出了邪恶力量的召唤，博物馆的一名工作人员着了魔一般拿着利器冲向刚刚进来参观的美国总统，特勤局特工Myka（乔安妮·凯莉 Joanne Kelly 饰）和特工Pete（埃迪·麦克林托克 Eddie McClintock 饰）临危不惧，保护了总统解决了石像危机。两人事故当晚接到了Frederic夫人（希·庞德 CCH Pounder 饰）的委任状，作为搭档先后前往南达科他州的一处不毛之地执行任务，任务执行的期限是——没有时限。这个顶级机密的地点被叫做的地点被叫做Warehouse 13，这个地方原来是个巨大的仓库，而仓库内保存的东西都是一些非常奇特的“艺术品”，这些艺术品都是从各地收集而来，而这两位特工的新工作寻找具有“未知能力”的艺术藏品。

　　该剧根据爱奇艺小说原创签约作家闲谭落花的《经常找我麻烦的男神》改编，讲述了高冷推理小说作家霍云涯因创作陷入瓶颈，遇到超级打工人聂柔珠，从此两人开启了一段麻烦不断但甜蜜爆笑的恋爱的故事

　　此剧讲述了文化遗产保护政策部和公务员和首尔地方警察厅智能犯罪小组，大家为了找回隐匿的文化遗产，团结在一起成立文化遗产专门小组，惩罚无耻卖国贼、犯罪分子们的愉快痛快故事。
　　周元剧中饰演文化遗产部门的公务员黄大明一角，其实他是个白天是个寒心的公务员，晚上却是文化遗产小偷的双面人。

　　故事发生在1939年的8月，八名身处世界各地，互相并不认识的人在同一时间收到了欧文夫妇的来信，信中热情的邀请他们前往位于德文海岸附近的士兵岛上做客，在这里，这对夫妻拥有一幢非常豪华的别墅。很快，八个人就各自动身了，可当抵达了小岛后，他们却被告知欧文夫妇并不在家，接待他们的是两名岛上的管家。
