　　Chiwetel Ejiofor饰演的外星人是一个全新角色，有全新的背景故事，该角色和电影中David Bowie饰演的外星人属于同一种族。

　　俊（谢霆锋 饰）热爱柔道没，在外国留学的他因为姐姐珊（梁艺玲 饰）结婚回到香港，因而认识了柔道高手彬（元华 饰）。彬的身手让俊着迷，想拜彬为师却遭到姐姐的反对，原因是彬意外破坏了珊的婚事。无奈，彬只好派自己的妹妹晶晶（张燊悦 饰）教导俊。晶晶的苛刻让俊十分吃不消，俊竟决定假意追求晶晶，好让她传授自己绝技。
