　　该剧是一部心理悬疑剧，讲述警察内部的局外人中年搜查官，曾经一度是检察官的恶劣律师，亲眼目睹了当警察的爸爸杀死了妈妈的年轻刑警，15年前发生的悲剧性杀人案的这三个相关者，因为这个事情而人生崩塌的三个男女，在个人谢罪这一特殊环境中，揭露警察内部秘密组织的真面目，寻找他们拼死生存的理由的成长型故事。
　　金贤珠饰演韩泰珠，她是传奇的世俗律师。原本是平步青云的检察官，但因为家里进了强盗受了重伤而辞职，暂时出国休养，回国之后成立了专门为有钱的罪犯们服务的律所。故意为罪犯辩护，引起事端，让相关人士交恶、自相残杀。
　　徐康俊剧中饰演疑心重的警察金英君一角。拥有有洞察犯人的卓越观察力，浑身是胆，身手敏捷，脑子聪明，也因为他什么也不信的〃疑心病＂，他与监察班长，世俗律师相遇组成了非法搜查组。
